Password Generator
Create strong, random passwords in one click. Everything happens on this page — your passwords are never sent anywhere.
Why a random password beats a clever one
Most hacked accounts aren't cracked by movie-style hacking — they're opened with passwords leaked from other sites, or guessed because people reuse the same few passwords everywhere. A password like "Sunshine2024!" feels clever but appears in every breach database on earth.
A truly random 16-character password has more combinations than any attacker can try in your lifetime. The only catch is that humans can't remember them — which is exactly why you should use a password manager (Bitwarden and Apple's/Google's built-in ones are free) and let it remember for you.
This generator uses your browser's cryptographic random number source — the same quality of randomness banks rely on — and nothing you generate is ever transmitted, stored or logged. For maximum safety, use a unique password per site: that way one leak can never cascade into your email, bank and social accounts.
As a rule of thumb: 12+ characters for everyday accounts, 16–20 for email and banking, and turn on two-factor authentication wherever it's offered. A strong password plus 2FA stops nearly all account takeovers.
